True Edge Education is a progressing arts education programme that will work anywhere within the U.K. We are committed to delivering schools individual programmes that creatively enrich and extend the national curriculum.

The programme is designed to help both students and teachers learn in a fun, safe and expressive environment. We have devised secondary school programmes that help raise the standards of GCSE, BTEC, GNVQ & A Level Performing Arts, Drama, Dance and/or English Literature, through the subjects of Stage Combat and Drama.

As well as being a necessary craft in the acting industry, we have also found that Stage Combat is an excellent tool for helping young people to under stand how to use physicality to bring text to life. It helps them to practise using their bodies , it teaches them trust and responsibility towards each other and it requires commitment to the intention of the performance. It is also extremely fun and provides great entertainment during their lunch breaks !

One of the many ways we practise this is by working with set texts that are on the present syllabus such as Romeo and Juliet, The Canterbury Tales , The Duchess of Malfi, amongst others. We encourage students to engage their imaginations and bodies using physical expression to enrich their understanding of the material.

We also work with music and devised projects and have a vast experience in one off Arts Enrichment days , where students are introduced to Stage Combat through a taster session.

Most importantly though is our ability to listen to what your school's needs are, then tailor a programme to those requirements.

We encourage children to display their creative outlets , take risks and learn within a fun and safe environment. We have seen that they can grow as confident individuals who can express themselves, working as part of a team and being inspired and motivated to learn without inhibitions .
